A trough of low pressure will dip into the region for the rest of the week. Showers and T-storms are likely at times Wednesday through the weekend. Gusty storm winds and lightning with storms will bring increased fire danger, and localized flooding is also possible in flood prone areas and burn scars. Much cooler weather is in the forecast, with highs falling 15 degrees or more for Thursday through the weekend. -Jeff
