Nevada Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs Launches Up Next Nevada Ambassador Program

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -The Nevada Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs has launched its Up Next Nevada Ambassador Program, highlighting four young professionals from across the state who are building meaningful careers through mentorship, education and workforce development opportunities.

Two of the Ambassadors, Kaitlin Nichols and Fait Reid, join Morning Break to discuss the program and how it’s helping them kick start their professional careers.

Kaitlin Nichols, Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows: A longtime Club member who began volunteering after discovering her passion for helping youth. Now pursuing a degree in social work, Nichols credits Up Next Nevada with helping her strengthen her leadership and time management skills while providing financial literacy resources to support her future goals.

Faith Reid, Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada: A Carson City-based participant who advocates for expanding career opportunities for young adults. Reid hopes to help more young Nevadans discover local employment opportunities, connect with mentors and build their futures in the state.
