Drier, warmer weather is in the forecast for Friday and the weekend. Another area of low pressure will move into the region Sunday into Monday, and linger through next week. This system will bring cooler temperatures and more unsettled weather, with a daily chance of showers and T-storms. -Jeff

A trough of low pressure will bring cooler, unsettled weather through Monday. Showers are likely through at least the first half of Sunday, with some light snow in the High Sierra.
