This week's weather pattern remains active with rain and snow chances for the Reno area through Friday. Hazardous road conditions for the Sierra also return with at least 1 to feet of snow above 7,000 ft. Reno will see aw few inches on the valley floor through Wednesday.

After a sunny 60 degrees on Saturday we will return to an active weather pattern on Sunday that lasts until next Saturday. Sunday will see mostly rain in Reno with a return to snow from Monday to Friday. Travel in the Sierra will be tricky again all week long.

A proposal to target assault weapon sales would raise the minimum age in Nevada to buy a semi-automatic gun to 21.
