Fire Sheds Can Make Evacuations Quicker

Here comes the heat! Expect a big temperature jump over the weekend. We could see a few T-storms pop up in the afternoons next week. We are also watching for wildfire smoke over the next few days. -Jeff

Areas of haze and smoke are possible over the next few days, as the Electra Fire burns over in Amador County. Expect temperatures to stay below to close to average through Saturday, then jump Sunday into next week. A few thunderstorms will also be possible with this change. Stay tuned! -Jeff
