Bighorns' Bhullar to Play for Team Canada

SACRAMENTO - Reno Bighorns center Sim Bhullar is going to play for the Canadian National team in the upcoming Pan Am Games.

Bhullar broke the news to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee on Wednesday.

He is currently on the Kings roster for the NBA Summer League.

Even though he is of Indian descent, the 7-foot-5 Bhullar was born and raised in Toronto, where the Pan Am Games will be held this month.

Bhullar was named to the D-League's All-Defensive second team and their All-Rookie third team this season. He averaged 10.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and a league-high 3.8 blocks with Reno.

The Pan Am Games run July 10th-26th.
