RENO, NV - Reno police have released the name of a man they believe fired shots into the air near the Peppermill casino early Monday.

Police were called to Lakeside and Brinkby about 1AM. After talking to witnesses, they determined the driver of a car appeared to be speeding through the neighborhood and someone yelled to the driver to slow down. Someone in the car then fired multiple shots into the air. Police say there is no evidence anyone was hit.

Police tracked the car and arrested 22-year-old Enrique Torres, Jr. He is charged with discharging a gun in a prohibited area and resisting a public officer.
