Secret Witness Offers Reward in Search for Driver Who Hit and Killed Bicyclist

RENO, NV - Police are still looking for a driver who hit and killed a cyclist and left the scene.

It happened around 7:20PM October 31, 2015 on North Virginia Street near Crest Hill Drive and Beacon Drive. Police say a man was riding his bicycle when the driver of a red Chevy Cavalier hit him. The cyclist had lights on the bike. The Cavalier was found later the same night on Crest Hill, abandoned.

The bicyclist, 61-year-old Denis Genesse of Reno, was transported to a hospital, where he died.

Secret Witness is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the driver.
