Wolf Pack returns home for showdown with San Diego State

Following a big win at Hawaii, the Wolf Pack football is back home, prepping for a Nevada Day weekend meeting with San Diego State (6-1, 3-0).

Nevada (4-4, 2-2) will be rocking some special silver holiday uniforms when it welcomes the Aztecs, a team the Pack hasn't beaten since 2014.

Nevada returns home this week, with one more game before the bye week, and hosts divisional foe San Diego State this Saturday, Oct. 27 ... Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT at Mackay Stadium between the Wolf Pack (4-4, 2-2 MW) and Aztecs (6-1, 3-0 MW) ... The game can be seen on ESPNU with Roy Philpott (play-by-play) and Tom Ramsey (analyst) on the call ... The Wolf Pack Radio Network will call the game as well on 94.5 FM/630 AM with John Ramey (play-by-play) and Mike Edwards (analyst) in the booth, with the 60-minute pregame show to begin at 6:30 p.m. PT ... The Wolf Pack is coming off of a 40-22 road victory at Hawai’i, handing the Rainbow Warriors their first conference loss of the season and will look to do the same to the Aztecs, who enter Saturday’s game 3-0 in the Mountain West ... Since losing its season opener to Stanford, San Diego State has rattled off six straight wins, but none have been by more than 14 points and the Aztecs average margin of victory in those six games is just over six points ... The Nevada and San Diego State all-time series began in 1945, but these two teams have met just 10 times previously with SDSU ahead in the series, 7-3 ... The Wolf Pack will be wearing special silver uniforms for this game to commemorate Nevada Day.
