WOLF PACK EYES ROAD WIN IN EL PASO THIS SATURDAY
Nevada hits the road for the final time in non-conference action to face Conference USA foe UTEP this Saturday, Sept. 21 ... Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. PT at the Sun Bowl between the Wolf Pack (2-1, 0-0 MW) and Miners (1-1, 0-0 Conference USA) ... The game can be seen on ESPN3 with Andy Morgan (play-by-play), and Trevor Vittatoe (analyst) on the call ... The Wolf Pack Radio Network will call the game as well on 94.5 FM with John Ramey (play-by-play) and Mike Edwards (analyst) in the booth, with the 60-minute pregame show to begin at 4 p.m. PT ... This is just the fourth meeting between the Wolf Pack and Miners in program history and the first since Nevada earned a 23-17 win back in 2002 in Reno ... Nevada rebounded from its week two loss to nationally ranked Oregon with a 19-13 victory over Weber State last Saturday, while UTEP suffered its first loss of 2019 with a 38-3 defeat at Texas Tech ... Nevada true freshman PK Brandon Talton was named the Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week for week three after he scored 13 of Nevada’s 19 points against Weber State and was perfect once again, hitting 4-of-4 field goal attempts.
