RENO, Nev. – University of Nevada head men’s basketball coach Eric Musselman has announced the signing of Daryl Edwards to a scholarship agreement to play for the Wolf Pack in 2019-20. Edwards is a graduate transfer from LSU and will enroll in the fall at Nevada.
“We are extremely excited to add a player the caliber of Daryl to our roster,” Musselman said. “Daryl is a high level shooter with a great basketball IQ. His ability to make plays off the dribble for himself and his teammates and stretch the floor with his shot-making ability will serve our program well.”
Edwards joined the LSU team for the 2017-18 season and appeared in 32 games earning 16 starts for the Tigers. He averaged 6.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in year one at LSU. Prior to LSU he played two seasons at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Fla. Both years the team advanced to the National Junior College basketball championships and reached the final eight in 2016.
Originally from Fresno, Calif. he played his prep basketball at Fresno Central High School.
