RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - After four seasons at Nevada, Eric Musselman is the new head basketball coach at the University of Arkansas.

Wolf Pack Athletic Director Doug Knuth has issued a statement thanking Eric Musselman for his work as head coach of the Nevada men's basketball team as part of an announcement that Musselman is taking the head coaching job at the University of Arkansas.

"I want to thank Eric Musselman for four thrilling seasons with the Wolf Pack and for elevating the Nevada men's basketball program to the top of the Mountain West Conference," Knuth's statement said. "We wish Eric and Danyelle nothing but the best moving forward."

Knuth says the Wolf Pack will do a national search for Musselman's replacement.

In four seasons, Musselman was 110-34 at Nevada, with three straight trips to the NCAA Tournament and a College Basketball Invitational championship in his first season.

Multiple media reports foretold the announcement before it became official.
