TRNAVA, Slovakia Reno High School graduate Andrew Berreyesa completed his first trip to the Junior World Championships with a Silver medal Wednesday in Slovakia.

The freshman at Cornell University fell in the final match at 82kg in Greco-Roman, losing 10-0 to defending Junior World champ Alexsander Komorov of Russia.

Berreyesa worked his way to the final match by beating opponents from Italy, Uzbekistan and Turkey. It'll be the 20-year-old's first and only trip to the Junior World Championships.

Last July, Berreyesa became the first Nevadan to win a National Title in Junior Greco-Roman wrestling, bringing back first place hardware from Fargo, North Dakota.
