The Reno Huskies had no issues with Galena Friday night at Peccole Park, beating the Grizzlies 6-0 to clinch a state tournament berth and a spot in Saturday's regional championship game.

The Huskies scored in the first and never looked back, padding their lead to 3-0 with a Cole Schmidt solo home run in the fourth. With the bases loaded in the fifth, Grayson Grinsell smacked a three-run double for some insurance.

Reno is back in the state tournament and will aim to take the North's top seed. The Huskies await either Manogue, McQueen or Galena in Saturday's regional title game (noon at Peccole Park). The Miners and Lancers play Friday at 4 p.m. from Peccole, winner getting the Grizzlies at 7 p.m.
