Wolf Pack sets sights on meeting with No. 16 Oregon

RENO, NV (KOLO) - Nevada Athletics Game Notes:

Nevada readies for its first road contest of 2019 as it will travel to Eugene, Ore. to face Pac-12 foe Oregon this Saturday, Sept. 7. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. PT at Autzen Stadium between the Wolf Pack (1-0, 0-0 MW) and Ducks (0-1, 0-0 Pac-12) .

The game can be seen on the Pac-12 Network with Roxy Bernstein (play-by-play), Anthony Herron (analyst) and Jill Savage (sideline) on the call.

The Wolf Pack Radio Network will call the game as well on 94.5 FM with John Ramey (play-by-play) and Mike Edwards (analyst) in the booth, with the 60-minute pregame show to begin at 3:30 p.m. PT.

The Wolf Pack and Ducks have not played one another since 2011 when Oregon rolled to a 69-20 win in Eugene.

Nevada has only beaten Oregon one time in its history, a 13-6 victory back in 1947.

The Wolf Pack had a thrilling win to open the season in week one, beating Purdue at home on a 56-yard field goal with time expiring.

For the Ducks, they are in search of their first win after suffering a 27-21 loss to Auburn in a neutral site contest in Texas.

It will be a big game for senior LB Gabriel Sewell who will face his brother, Penei Sewell, the Ducks starting left tackle.
