Nevada set for Mountain West play with Hawai'i en route to Reno

Nevada returns home this week for its Homecoming game and Mountain West opener as Hawai’i visits Reno for a late night showdown this Saturday, Sept. 28 ... Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT at Mackay Stadium between the Wolf Pack (3-1, 0-0 MW) and Rainbow Warriors (3-1, 0-0 MW) ... The game can be seen on ESPN2 with Clay Matvick (play-by-play), and Ryan Leaf (analyst) on the call ... The Wolf Pack Radio Network will call the game as well on 94.5 FM with John Ramey (play-by-play) and Mike Edwards (analyst) in the booth, with the 60-minute pregame show to begin at 6:30 p.m. PT ... Live stats are available for the game at NevadaWolfPack.com/footballls ... Nevada and Hawai’i both enter their respective conference openers with a 3-1 record, marking the Wolf Pack’s best start to a season since it also started 3-1 in 2014 ... The Wolf Pack and Rainbow Warriors have faced one another 23 times in program history and Saturday’s contest will mark the 20th consecutive meeting, which dates back to the year 2000 ... Nevada’s 37-21 road victory at UTEP its last time gave head coach Jay Norvell his first non-conference road win.
