Wolf Pack offers sneak peek at Silver & Blue scrimmage

Reno, NEV. (KOLO) It was a party inside the Virginia Street Gym Thursday, as the Nevada men's basketball team hosted its first Silver & Blue Scrimmage.

The Wolf Pack welcomed students in for a festive evening, which kicked off with head coach Eric Musselman rolling in on a motorcycle dressed as the university's beloved mascot, Alphie.

Nevada split up in two teams, the Sagebrushers and Desert Wolves, scrimmaging for two 10-minute halves. Desert Wolves, led by Cody Martin's 21 points, would win 39-35.

The guys also had a three-point contest, which saw Jazz Johnson outlast Caleb Martin, and a dunk contest, which was won by Jordan Caroline.

Nevada hosts its first exhibition on October 21st when the Washington Huskies invade Lawlor Events Center.
