Nevada's Jordan Brown announces transfer to Arizona

RENO, NV (KOLO) - After one season at Nevada, freshman forward Jordan Brown announced Friday he will transfer to Arizona next season.

Brown made the announcement on his Twitter account. He thanked the city of Reno and Wolf Pack fans for a memorable freshman season but added he will transfer to Arizona next season.

After making his first collegiate start early in the season Brown struggled to find consistent minutes under former Wolf Pack head coach Eric Musselman.

Coming out of high school Brown was a 5-star recruit and McDonald's All-American.

He was the highest rated high school prospect to come to Nevada.

Brown averaged 3 points per game in 10.1 minutes of floor time.

He will have to sit out the 2019-2020 season at Arizona but will be eligible to play again during the 2020-2021 season.
