Junior guard Jalen Harris has been selected as the Mountain West Player of the Week after helping Nevada to a pair of conference home wins. It is the third time this season Harris has earned the honor.

Harris scored a career-high 38 points in the 88-54 win over Air Force then scored 32 in the 95-77 victory against San José State. The 38 points is the high for any player in the MW this season. The Dallas native has scored 30 or more points in each of the last four games and six times on the season. He is the first Nevada player to score 30 or more points in four consecutive games and is just the fourth to have six or more games of 30 or more points in a season.

In the win over the AFA he made a career-high six 3s on just eight attempts. Of his 70 points in the two games 40 were scored in the second half.

Harris averaged 35 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and one steal playing 36.5 minutes per game during the week. From the field he shot 56.8 (25-of-44) percent, 61.1 (11-of-18) from behind the arc and was a perfect 9-for-9 at the free throw line.
