RENO, NV (KOLO) - Kevin Cron is heading to The Show.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have recalled Reno's star slugger, sending him to the big leagues for the first time in his career.

The 26-year-old infielder has been on a tear so far this season, leading the Minor Leagues with 21 home runs and 62 RBI over 44 games with the Aces. He's batting .339 and his .800 slugging percentage leads Reno.

Cron's father, Chris, is the Aces' manager and thus delivered the good news to his son. Kevin will join his big brother, the Twins' C.J. Cron, in the big leagues.
