Carson's Kordonowy signs to play softball at Nevada
Carson High School Senior Bella Kordonowy, 18, signed with the University of Nevada for Softball earlier this morning during her lunch break in the school’s Morse Burley Gym. Friends and family gathered in support for the highly recruited student athlete. Topping the list of those present included her mother and father, Colleen and Jerrad Kordonowy.
“Over the past four years, I’ve been able to watch Bella compete in high school sports, primarily basketball and obviously softball, and one of the things that really stands out to me about her, is her competitiveness,” said CHS Athletic Director Blair Roman to the crowd of supporting classmates, teachers, administrators and friends. “She is a person who her coaches can rely upon, she is an outstanding student, person and leader at this school. And I cannot think of a better person to earn such an honor as this.”
