Caroline named Mountain West Player of the Week

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – University of Nevada senior Jordan Caroline has been named the Mountain West Player of the Week after helping the sixth ranked Wolf Pack to a pair of wins to begin the season. It is the third career MW weekly honor for Caroline.

In the two games he averaged a double-double scoring 20.5 points and grabbing 10 rebounds per game. In the win 86-70 win over BYU he posted his 28th career double-double finishing with 25 points and 16 rebounds which were both games highs. The 16 rebounds tied his career high. In the first half he had his double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds.

In Friday’s win over Pacific he scored 16 points and had four rebounds.

From the field he shot 58.3 percent, 66.7 percent from behind the arc and 64.7 percent at the free throw line in the two games.
