Alford lands second recruit; Zane Meeks set to join Wolf Pack

RENO, NV - Nevada men's basketball coach Steve Alford received a commitment from his second recruit in Zane Meeks after taking over the Wolf Pack a month ago.

Meeks is a 6'9" forward from Kansas who had offers from Air Force, Brown and UMBC among others. He most recently played for Brewster Academy in New Hampshire.

“I love coach Alford and the staff, they are proven winners, I feel I can play right away, the facilities are absolutely amazing, and Reno is a beautiful city," Meeks said on his decision to play for Nevada.

Meeks joins Kane Milling as the first two recruits to join under Alford.
