Williams, UConn ties NCAA record with 90th straight win

HARTFORD, Conn. (KOLO) The UConn women's basketball team tied their own NCAA record on Tuesday night, winning their 90th consecutive game.

Former Reed high school star Gabby Williams filled up the stat book in the No. 1 Huskies' 102-37 rout of No. 20 South Florida. She scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. She also had seven assists, three steals and four blocked shots.

Williams is now 91-1 in her college career with a pair of National Championships.

UConn will look to set a new record on Saturday at SMU.
