Washoe Sheriff's Office: Missing teen may be in Ohio

RENO, NV (KOLO) Washoe County Sheriff's detectives say they are searching for a 16-year-old girl.

Kita Kerns was last reported seen the morning of May 10, 2019 in the Lemmon Valley area. Investigators say she may be in the company of Dayton Manning, who was reported missing to the Reno Police Department.

Investigators early on told KOLO Kerns was listed as a runaway, and have since received information that she may be in the Columbus, Ohio area.

According to a flyer distributed by her family, she is blond with green eyes, and is 5'6" and about 110 pounds.
