RENO, NV (KOLO)-- The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office sergeant in charge of investigating cybercrimes has been on administrative leave since March, sheriff’s spokesman Bob Harmon said Thursday.

Harmon would only say that Sgt. Dennis Carry is under investigation by the Reno Police Department. No one from the department was available Thursday night to comment about the investigation.

There was no telephone number listed for Carry.

Carry has been a point person for the sheriff’s office for about a decade as they investigated cyber sex crimes and financial fraud crimes.
