People living in Warm Springs and Palomino Valley are looking to join a network, where communities can get in touch with fire officials and use what they learned to decrease fire risk.
The Nevada Network of Fire Adapted Communities’ mission is to foster the widespread occurrence of Fire Adapted Communities where Nevadans living with the threat of wildfire fully prepare themselves, their homes and the landscape where they reside to survive the destructive force of wildfire.
The Warm Springs and Palomino Valley Fire Adapted Community Chapter for a kick-off meeting on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ironwood Events Center, 5600 Whiskey Springs Rd.
