U.S. 50 reopens at Glenbrook following head-on crash

GLENBROOK, Nev. (KOLO) - U.S. 50 is back open in both directions after a head-on crash in the Glenbrook area of Lake Tahoe.

It happened Sunday, November 10, 2019 around 4:30 p.m. near Tall Pines Road in Douglas County along Lake Tahoe. Care Flight was called in to help the injured, who had to be extricated, the NHP said.

The injuries were described as substantial.

U.S. 50 was closed for about three hours during the investigation.
