Two arrested in Stateline on drug trafficking charge

STATELINE, NV (KOLO)-- After what the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office described as a several-month narcotics investigation, two Stateline residents were arrested Wednesday on charges of trafficking in narcotics and other drug-related charges.

Timothy Russell Hecox, 61, and Holly Jean Anderson, 50, were arrested after 2 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, about a quarter ounce of psilocybin mushrooms and more than $1,000 in cash were found at the home at 168 Faris Court in Stateline, the sheriff’s office said.

The investigation was by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Street Enforcement Team and State of Nevada Tri Net Investigation team.
