RENO, NV (KOLO) Two people were arrested Tuesday on felony drug charges after being pulled over by a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper.

Troopers say 55 pounds of marijuana was found inside a car driven by 22-year-old Justyce Carrington, stopped by a trooper May 14, 2019 near Mogul on I-80. Carrington was accused of speeding through a construction zone.

She and 22-year-old Matthew Acosta-Frantz, a passenger, are charged with marijuana trafficking and possession of drugs; Carrington also faces traffic charges.
