RENO, Nev. (KOLO) Reno’s newest city center, The Village at Rancharrah, is expected to open for business in 2020.
The new commercial development is under the direction of Tolles Development Company and it will house around 20 businesses.
The $50 million mixed-use commercial development will include waterfront dining, shopping and office space opportunities to south Reno.
The confirmed businesses include: Waterfront Restaurant, Dolce Vita Wellness Spa, Rancharrah Clothing Company, Süp, Chez Vous, Coffeebar, Centro, Art Obsessions and The Bar Effect.
Dolce Vita CEO and founder Nyla Allen says this expansion is pivotal to her business growth.
"It'll be more than 10,000 square feet, which is more than double this space, and will include several lounging areas, a lot of creative elements, as well as outdoor relaxation areas," she says.
Sup chef and co-owner Christian Christensen says not only was the location perfect for his restaurant but the local focus makes it unique as well.
"It feels quaint and quirky, kind of a ranch house feel and the fact that they are doing mostly locally-owned restaurants and businesses is like a breath of fresh air there," he says.
