The technology industry across the state of Nevada is booming. Governor Brian Sandoval met with leaders in the industry, including Tesla CEO Elon Musk, October 9, 2018.
"There are approximately almost 7,000 people that are working here over five million feet of work space. Tesla's kept its word with regards to everything it said it was going to do with employment," Sandoval says.
Musk says the company expects to triple in size over the next few years.
"It's an exciting time and we're growing as fast as it's possible to grow," Musk says.
More companies such as Blockchains are following in Tesla's footsteps and putting down roots in Nevada.
"The thing is, tech is going to provide better paying jobs and it's going to lift everybody up and Blockchains is about lifting everybody up starting with right here, where we've decided to make our home," Blockchains CEO Jeff Berns says.
