Runaway teen found and returned home

May 24 update:

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office said deputies found Caleb Wilson in the Cold Springs area.

He has been returned home without incident, the sheriff's office said.

It thanked the community for its involvement.

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office has suspended its search for a missing teenager, with new information indicating he is a runaway and not in danger.

15-year-old Caleb Wilson was last reported seen around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 near Fetlock Drive and Clydesdale Drive in the Rancho Haven area off Red Rock Road.

Deputies said he may be on a dirt bike with no headlight. He was wearing a camouflage baseball cap, black jacket, and brown cowboy boots, and may have camping gear with him, but no phone. Wilson was with his German Shepherd “Sarge.”
