Food Bank all ages volunteer events offer a way for families to volunteer together in a way that is fun and educational. The Food Bank of Northern Nevada serves an average of 92,000 people each month. Hunger is a very serious issue in northern Nevada and it takes many hands to make a difference in the lives of families facing hunger.
The event is brought to the community by sponsor Scheels. The Scheels sponsorship also helps feed children and families in the region through the Mobile Harvest program, which provides fresh produce delivered directly to neighborhoods.
