Stardust Street back open after Reno Police standoff

Roads are back open after a standoff on Stardust Street.

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Reno Police were involved in a standoff on Stardust Street.

It happened Friday, February 21, 2020.

According to Reno Police, three shots were heard in the area. One bullet struck a car parked at a nearby shopping center.

Witnesses say they saw a man in blue jeans and a red hoodie run into the laundry room of an apartment complex. Police checked the room, but no one was in there.

Stardust St. was closed between Elgin Avenue and Stoker Avenue, but has since reopened.
