Sparks residents asked to move vehicles from some streets

SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - Through February 8, 2019, City of Sparks Public Works crews will be crack-sealing various roads throughout the city, and they are asking residents to remove their vehicles from the following streets from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm daily as work is being performed.

West Gault Way
Sue Way
Adel Way
16th Street from Sue St. to west Gault Way
York from 18th to Rock Blvd.
Vance Way from 18th to Rock Blvd.
G St. from the Sparks city limit to Sullivan
Field St.
D street from Field St. to View St.
21st St. from Victorian to Prater Way
20th Street from F to J St.
C St. from Rock Blvd to Victorian Plaza Circle
9th St. from Victorian Ave. to Prater Way
Culpepper Dr.
E. Nashua Place
Whispering Wind Place
Cloverbrook Place
Ashland Ave.
Belmar Dr.
Chert Ct.

Residents will see cones with no-parking signs and/or windshield tags on their vehicles with the dates the work is being performed on their specific streets. By law, residents must remove their vehicles from the street during maintenance or the vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.

“This work is important to maintain the City’s infrastructure,” says Ron Korman, Public Works Manager. “We very much appreciate our resident’s assistance during the crack-sealing process.”
