Name released of man killed by driver in south Reno

RENO, Nev. (KOLO)-- Reno Police have released the name of a man killed in traffic last weekend.

The vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash was reported just before 3:15PM January 13, 2019 on South Meadows Parkway at Wilbur May Parkway. 28-year-old Stillwin Den of Fullerton, California was found in the street and pronounced dead at the scene. Police originally thought he was 23.

Police say he was in the road working on a sewer system when he was hit by the driver. That driver remained on scene and is cooperating in the investigation; there have been no charges or citations.

Reno Police are looking for other witnesses to the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-334-2141.
