Northern Nevada air quality improves

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Air in Douglas County is in the "unhealthy for sensitive groups" range, meaning, "Active children and adults, and people with lung disease, such as asthma, should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors."

In Washoe City and Carson City, air is in the moderate range.

Smoke from California fires, mostly the Mendocino Complex north of Santa Rosa, Carr Fire in Redding and Donnell Fire in the Stanislaus National Forest, continues to cause problems with Northern Nevada air.
