Protest held in Reno against President and administration
More than 50 people showed up to a candlelight vigil in downtown Reno Wednesday night to protest President Donald Trump and officials from his administration.
The goal of the vigil was to "Confront Corruption and Demand Democracy.”
People at the vigil say they are tired of what they call all the attacks on the rule of law, conflicts of interest, ethics violations and flagrant abuse of government offices for personal gain by the President and his associates.
"There are a lot of things people are angry about and upset about and forgetting about. Nobody is talking about the children anymore, nobody is talking about the environment anymore on any real level," said Carol Elewski, vigil organizer.
Reno’s vigil was one of at least a hundred scheduled across the country.
