Shelter-in-place recommendation in Genoa lifted

GENOA, Nev. (KOLO)-- The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday it had received a report of a man with a gun in the Centennial Drive area of Genoa and used Reverse 911 to tell people to shelter in place.

“The incident has been resolved and there is no threat to our community,” the sheriff’s office said.

Other details about the incident were not immediately available.
