Shark Tank competition held at Carson High School
Shark Tank at Carson High School is back. This year 100 projects were presented. At stake is $1,500, which will be divided up among six winners, one from each class period. The mini Shark Tank competition gave students the chance to expose their ideas and receive feedback.
"The end goal here is for kids to present here at the school and then advance to Future Business Leaders of America state competition, where we have won the state competition in the last two years," said William McHenry, teacher at Carson High School.
Trigger Finger, a smart gun, was this year's winner of the sophomore class. Previous business plans have brought to life everything from restaurants and basketball leagues to non-profits for the homeless.
