DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. (KOLO) - The Nevada Highway Patrol discovered a second vehicle crash while responding to a wreck along Kingsbury Grade on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Troopers say a pickup was going too fast around a curve, hit the guardrail and rolled. The truck came to rest in the trees below, about 500 feet from the highway.

The driver is suspected of being impaired and did not sustain any injuries.

While crews were recovering the pickup on Monday, August 13, a second vehicle was discovered in the same area. It was determined the vehicle was from a crash some time ago that was not reported to NHP and had been abandoned.
