Plumas County Sheriff's Office searching for missing man

PLUMAS COUNTY, Calif. (KOLO) - The Plumas County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding a man missing out of Quincy, California.

Deputies say the roommate of 50-year-old Jorge Alfredo Morquecho Ramiro reported him missing, saying she had not heard from him or seen him in several weeks. He also has not shown up for his job at Cedarling Restaurant in Quincy. His employer says they last heard from him on January 2, 2020.

The sheriff's office says Ramiro’s cellphone and all of his personal belongings are still at his home, but his car is gone.

It's described as a blue 2005 Ford Five Hundred with chrome accents (similar to the one pictured) and California license plate number 6SNB349.

Ramiro is described as Hispanic, 6’3”, and 170 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes.
