About 40 workers went Friday morning to paint the house, which had not been thoroughly repainted in 10 years.
They painted three floors and some rooms and painted the front and back doors red. It’s the third year for paint it forward and is a way for the community to give back to the community and after three years they have it worked out.
"Pretty much one color on everything,” said Kevin Kelly. “We painted the front door and back door red. We came in here and split up the crews. ten people to a crew, there are three levels in here and we just took over. Painted all the hallways, ceilings, everything. And then there were some rooms opened here, where we've done some extra work in here, in some extra rooms."
He said about $10,000 in manpower and paint was donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
