After a yearlong celebration, the City of Reno is 150 years old. Thousands of people celebrated the milestone at Greater Nevada Field in Downtown Reno May 9, 2018.

People enjoyed various activities such as visiting a historic booth and meeting first responders.

A new sculpture was also unveiled in front of Greater Nevada Field. The sculpture called ‘Home’ is similar to the ‘Believe’ sign on City Plaza.

This past year, 150 people were honored for their contributions to the city. Governor Brian Sandoval was in attendance and he was one of the people selected for the exclusive group.
