Reno-Tahoe International Airport will welcome more than 18,000 burners over the course of the week.
Burning Man is the single biggest event each year at Reno-Tahoe International Airport. This year, burners are expected to bring in 11 million dollars, which will have a positive economic impact on the airport and the region.
Monday, August 27, they are expecting around 3,000 to 4,000 burners to fly in that day alone. An information desk is set up at the airport for burners. The airport's Kindness Takes Flight Team will also be greeting arriving burners with therapy dogs as well as invite them to take a free yoga class in the River Room baggage claim.
