RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Reno Police have arrested a man for a hit-and-run that hurt another man Sunday.
Police responded the afternoon of January 6, 2019 to 10695 Stead Boulevard, where they found a 19-year-old man with what they called substantial, but non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a driver.
The police investigation showed the victim had met 18-year-old Jacob Furman in a parking lot. Police say Furman was in the driver's seat of his vehicle, and the victim was standing outside the open driver's window. They argued, and Furman allegedly sped off, dragging and partially running over the victim. Police say Furman left the scene without trying to help or calling police. Police say it doesn't appear as though Furman hit the victim intentionally.
Furman was arrested the next day and charged with one count of Hit and Run Causing Substantial Bodily Harm.
