Police searching for missing endangered woman

The Reno Police Department is looking for a missing 83-year-old woman who they say may be in need of medical assistance.

Erna Douglas was last seen driving away from her home near Cashill Boulevard on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 around 10:15AM. Erna is driving a 1998 plum-colored Saturn 4-door sedan with Nevada license plate 426MTZ. Police say the Saturn has a hole in the front passenger side quarter panel from a previous accident.

Police say Erna suffers from several medical ailments, walks hunched over and must use a cane. She may be experiencing confusion.

Erna is described as white, approximately 5'0, 135lbs, with grey hair and blue/grey eyes. She was last seen wearing either a red fleece zip up jacket or a light blue zip up hoodie, a beige long sleeve pull over top, blue denim pants and white sneakers. Her wooden cane is brown and she may be carrying a black purse.
