March 14, 2019, 25-year-old Jennifer Sandoval-Yuriar was arrested for Sex Trafficking of a Minor Under the Age of 16, as well as Child Neglect, and Obstructing and Resisting Arrest. She was arrested by Reno Police and an FBI task force after she barricaded herself and her four children inside a home on Record Street. The children are now with a relative, according to Reno Police.

The FBI says Sandoval was arrested as part of an investigation into a child sex trafficking group by the Northern Nevada Child Exploitation Task Force. The FBI requests anyone with information on human trafficking in Nevada to contact the FBI at 702-385-1281, or local law enforcement.

The investigation included the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, Nevada Department of Corrections, Nevada Gaming Control Board and State of Nevada Welfare Investigations.
