Panasonic holding job fair for Gigafactory site

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Northern Nevada JobConnect in conjunction with Panasonic Energy of North America holds an invitation-only job fair Wednesday, June 22 for open positions in the Gigafactory east of Sparks.

PENA and Tesla are partners in a multi-billion project to build lithium ion battery cells.

To go to the job fair, people must first submit their resumes to Nevada JobConnect before June 22 for application instructions and to receive an invitation to the event.

“PENA has partnered with Nevada JobConnect to fill full-time positions in advanced manufacturing and is seeking experienced manufacturing professionals for shift lead, maintenance Technician and operator positions,” Amy Martin-Charles, PENA talent acquisition manager, said in a statement. “Those interested in charging up their careers in an advanced manufacturing facility that is one of a kind, please contact Nevada JobConnect.”
